Sales Leader

Summary: This position is responsible for directing the sales functions of the corporation. Also responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the board of directors and the executive management team to establish and execute long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's sales function and performance
Develops annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices. Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
Provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice
Implements approved distribution strategies and manages multiple channel selling strategies.
Drives the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
Spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
Motivates and leads a high-performance sales team; attracts, recruits and retains required members of the team not currently in place; provides mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program
Acts as lead "client-care officer" with every client and partner.
Assists, as required, in raising additional capital at appropriate valuations to enable the company to meet sales, growth and market share objectives.
Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
Represents the company with clients and vendors.
Develop credibility for the sales group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, sales reports and customer trends in order to meet all sales objectives and performance metrics.
Provide technical sales advice and discipline to others within the organization.
Develop a reliable sales flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum materials needed to meet operating needs and projected sales volume.

This person will be responsible for driving sales and identifying the supporting sales team needs and developing such a team.
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field. Master's Degree a plus.
15+ years in various management/leadership roles in a variety of businesses and industries.
Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span
Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Sales and service systems development and deployment.
Problem analysis, problem resolution and Technical Skills at both a strategic and functional level.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills and employee training and development

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
