Cook I-MidDay Shift

Position Overview:
1. Wash, peel, seed vegetables and fruits and cut various food items including meats, poultry, and seafood.
2. Dip food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them. Stirs and strains soups and sauces. Measure and assemble ingredients and cook items according to recipes and menu specifications.
3. Grill, deep fry, bake, broil, and microwave raw and prepped foods as designated by the predetermined menu.
4. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils. Follow all sanitization guidelines and proper labeling and storage of food products.
5. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator. Check temperature and store foods in designated areas.
6. Contribute to teamwork by training and helping co-workers, communicating needs to the supervisor and implementing feedback for improvement. Continually perform duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service.
1. Currently possess or be able to obtain Food Handler's Certificate
2. Pass criminal background check and various state/federal registry checks
3. 1 year of kitchen experience in a line capacity of a high-volume, cafeteria/banquet style environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
